Search Engine Optimization (SEO) is a lot of things, but it sure ain’t magical!
One of the most difficult aspects of SEO is maintenance. Unless your company receives a majority of their business from high search engine rankings, then spending a few hours every week to increase your position in Google is usually not too high on your priority list. It’s more than often that SEO is put on the back burner and valuable leads are lost.
So we’ve decided to post our current rankings (Google, Yahoo, & Live) and update you as time goes by. If our rankings don’t increase by our next update, then we’re not listening to our own advice!
Mixplatemedia.com was released in November of 2008 and as of today, May 6, 2009, here are our rankings:
- Mix Plate Media – 1 (Well I sure hope so.)
- Hawaii Graphic Design – 5
- Hawaii Web Design – 47 (Attention: All 46 websites before us, we’re coming for you!)
- Hawaii Logo Design – 18
- Custom Character Creation – 6
Yahoo
- Mix Plate Media – 1
- Hawaii Graphic Design – 7 (Not bad.)

- Custom Character Creation – 151 (Huge difference from Googe)

Overall these positions are not too bad considering the site was released 6 months ago, but we have a long a way to go before we get calls everyday from clients finding us via search engines. The next rankings update will be in November!
